Ilena does not seek to write a song or a poem in your place. It analyses, suggests, and leaves the decision to you: no suggestion enters your text without a gesture of yours.

Your texts belong to you

Ilena claims no ownership right over the texts you create or modify, and you can ask for your account and your data to be deleted at any time.

Never used to train a model

Your works are not made public. When a feature needs it, only fragments are transmitted, for the time it takes to produce the result, never to train a model, ours or a third party’s.

Every line carries its syllable count in the margin, updated as you write.

The rhythm shows while you write.

Beside the count, Ilena names the emotion the line gives off. A line longer than its neighbours stands out at a glance from its margin. And the emotion named beside it says what the line does, not what it tells, enough to hear a verse collapsing before reading it aloud.

The scansion is not one algorithm translated: French, English and Spanish count their syllables by their own rules, and Ilena holds three.
